Abandoned after a recent fire in several of its 50 rooms. It probably smells better now. I do miss seeing its lurid signage illuminating my Route 1 night time drives, though. Classic roadside Americana laid to waste. It's a shame that it will most likely be bulldozed to become another PetSmart or a Kohl's within a year. Edison, NJ. July 2007.
