CLICK TO ENLARGE: Piseco Road in the picturesque village of Speculator, NY. This postcard features the old Chas. Johns Grocery Store, which I visited very often with my grandparents (from the 70s to the early 90s) as a kid.

Storytown USA & Lake George, New York
Vintage images of this lakeside amusement town and its many colors. Having been there quite a few times with my grandparents in the 1970s and later, I can say that (even decades later) it had not changed a whole lot from these 1950s and 1960s photos.
