Scott's Big 'Ol House (And Barn): Part 2

Scott's second day and night in his elegant new home. He and his cousin Cindy and I had fun exploring the barn and loft (complete with poolside recliner and nursery accoutrements). We also mused about all things supernatural that may be attached to the property. A few of these details were clarified later by the previous owner who paid us a surprise visit. Let's just say, it ain't too wise to say that "Sadie" doesn't really exist. Yardville, NJ. 10-11 November 2007.

Scott's Big 'Ol House (And Barn): Part 1

Yeah... it's beautiful. But for some reason, I am most fond of attics and basements.
The "Sunrise Rest Home" sign is left over from one of the home's many incarnations.
It will be great to watch it evolve even further. Yardville, NJ. 9 November 2007.

Assemblage In Progress: Phase One

Drawers of materials emptied... Contents selected... Items pared down, arranged... Rearranged... Nailed, Glued, Epoxied, Adjusted, Trimmed...

While working on new paintings (as I am now) this other part of me always seems to creep in and want me to "build"... Kind of like a creative "point-counterpoint". This is the first layer of the new assemblage piece I am building. It doesn't have a title yet, but I'm leaning toward "Pop Gun Twist". More to come.... 9 November 2007.

Friday With The Collins Family

From a fantastically fun visit with my old friends Matt and Renee and their little future rock stars: Phoebe and Amelia. Many kisses and hugs. A warm welcome. More laughter than you can imagine. Few things rival that. 9 November 2007.

Plaster & Paper Fish

These two beautiful pieces (each about 24 inches in length) were made by a student named Jackie Saltzman who came to me with a request of digital photos of her work. Among her many unique pieces were these two creations... deftly skilled and brightly spirited at the same time. She gave me permission to include them here...
Thanks, Jackie! 1 November 2007.
