Two years ago I purchased a collection of over 100 photos of a couple named John and Marlene. There were no last names or information about their hometown attached to the images however the photos follow them through their teenage couple hood into graduation, marriage and starting a family. The eBay seller I purchased them from bought them in a storage bin sale somewhere in the Midwest. When the lot arrived at my door, the images showed signs of having been taped or glued into photo albums and I have done my best to preserve them. They are mounted carefully on acid free pages in plastic sleeves in their own album in my large archive of single photos and full collections purchased here and there. The main body of the photos date from 1954 to 1957. After a sizable gap there are three images from 1969 showing an older John at a breakfast table with someone who seems to be his daughter Debbie, who would be about 12 years old.
