Wacky Ads were the predecessor to the first round of Wacky Packages
Stickers in 1973. They were made by the Topps company and were cards
with a punch out area that could be removed and moistened to stick onto
surfaces. Many of these designs were recycled for the 1973 edition of
the peelable adhesive-backed stickers that became popular for decades.
