This way a new year lies...
The Shining was released in IMAX for one weekend.
There was no poster outside the theatre so I stood in the lobby
in my David Hicks sweater (given to me by my friend Steve) to
let everyone know where to go. I was very happy to see it on a
big screen for the first time. The performances were
hypermagnified in IMAX: Histrionics and madness writ large.
Dunkin' spared NO expense with holiday decor.
My friend Sam described this aesthetic as
"Divorced Dad trying his best"... and he NAILED it.
Merry Christmas from The Montone Family
and my parents' favorite child Steve. It was nice
of them to let me hang out with them for the holiday.
Steve's cookies are ALWAYS on point.
