Here we are again in the
last month of another year.
Shorter days. Longer nights of painting.
Breakfast in America
Finding vintage treasures for home
Friends who pierce together
are fierce together especially
when clutching bears at Claire's.
The Peeps Store is a happy place
Tippy takes a tumble.
What an oddity she is.
My friend Steve and a lookalike candle.
I bought a few of these.
Fewer leaves every day
July treasures in December
Front lawn Santa...
I pass him at least twice a day.
ME: 31 was a good year.
STUDENT: You mean 1931?
Bleecker Street NYC
The peaceful Passaic River
Last days in the park for now.
The bitter cold always keeps me away.
Caravaggio-nut
STUDENT: Cher didn't write
Gimme Gimme Gimme. Madonna wrote it.
Alumni Update: Sebastian came to visit us
after returning from basic training in Georgia.
He is an Eleven Charlie Infantryman whose
specialty is mortars. He is being deployed to Jordan in
January 2019. Godspeed and thank you for your service.

Always this... ALWAYS.
Scott knows that Choco Taco is life.
My Garfield headset is better
than your Beats or iPhone AirPods.
Mrs. Roberts is THE BEST.
When one of your former students just happens
to be a plumber and you hire him to fix a leaky trap
under your kitchen sink. THANK YOU DAVID!
Gotta love a vibrant morning view.
Color. Paint. Magic.
EVERY DAMN DAY.
ALWAYS THIS.
Whenever I stand in the doorway of
Jean-Michel Basquiat's former studio I am
in awe of how enduring his work is and
what he accomplished in a relatively short period
of time. I just wish he had lived longer so he
could have enjoyed the rich legacy he created.
2018 went by in a heartbeat
and there aren't too many beats left
until the clock tells us it's 2019.
Let's just stay in the moment... and in this
moment and in this moment... and so on and so on.
