Blue Valley Lanes. Wind Gap, PA

Vintage neon that needs repair.  Too bad that bowling pin is missing.
While shooting these on a Saturday afternoon, I could hear the sounds of the automatic pin-setters inside.
Despite the lack of functional neon, all is well here.  I bet the interior is great too.

Scenes from an afternoon at Wind Gap and Saylorsburg Flea Markets.

Aunt Nellie's Liquid Starch

Label from a plastic bottle from the 1960s.
After forty-odd years under the seal of a metal cap, the product's viscosity had, uh... changed.
Let's just say this bottle's pearly blue contents were a lumpy, gelatinous mess.
NOTE: Said mess was left to congeal in open air (atop a pile of rocks in the flea market parking lot).

1960s Milk Commercial Stills: Energy, Wow! Vitality, Yeah!

I'm gonna guess that the casting call for this ad went something like...

WANTED:
Four fresh-faced punters... Two gadfly gals and two dandy dudes.
We're scoping for the charm and electricity of The Mamas & The Papas with
clean cut looks that could get you work as an extra in an episode of That Girl.
Previous modern dance training a plus, but let's keep it clean.
